Privacy Policy

Who is responsible

WahaSend runs the service at wahasend.com and is responsible for the personal data described here. Contact: contact@wahasend.com.

For the messages and contacts you handle through WahaSend, you decide what is sent and to whom; we process that data on your behalf.

What we store

Account details: your name, email, password (hashed, never readable), language and organization, and the people you invite.

Your WhatsApp numbers and their connection status.

Messages: the details needed to send and track them (recipient, time, status) and their content where a feature needs it (history, inbox, campaigns, reminders, the assistant). Contacts synced from your phone when you use Connect.

Documents and products you upload for your assistant or shop.

AI usage per month (counts and estimated cost), so we can apply your allowance.

Payment: the amount, date, method and reference of each payment you make us. You pay through your bank or mobile money; we never see your card or account passwords.

Why we use it

To run the products you pay for, keep your account secure, send you service emails (verification, password reset, disconnected number, billing), and answer you. We do not sell your data and we do not use your content for advertising.

Who helps us

Hosting: Google Cloud, in Europe.

AI features: Anthropic (answers) and OpenAI (search in your documents and voice-note transcription) receive the text or audio needed to answer.

Email: our transactional email provider sends account emails.

Payments: your bank or mobile-money provider moves the money; we only keep a record of each payment.

Fonts on the website are loaded from Google Fonts.

Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States.

How long we keep it

As long as your organization exists. When you delete your organization, its data is deleted at once and removed from our backups within 14 days. We keep payment records as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You can see and correct your details in your account, ask us for a copy of your data, and delete your organization from your account. For anything else, write to contact@wahasend.com.

Security

Passwords and API keys are stored as hashes. Secrets such as AI action credentials and connection keys are encrypted. Each organization is kept apart from the others, including by row-level security in the database. Two-step sign-in is available. Connections use HTTPS.

Cookies and storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser keeps your sign-in, language and theme in local storage.
